At a gala celebration Friday November 10 in Stockholm, Matthew Peterson was awarded Classical of the Year (Årets Konstmusikpris) by the Swedish Music Publishers Association (Musikförläggarna), for his a cappella choral work An Inner Sky. A setting of three modernistic poems of EE Cummings, An Inner Sky was premiered October 2022 by the Swedish Radio Choir and has since been performed by Eric Ericson Chamber Choir, Sofia Vokalensemble, and Indiana University NOTUS. An Inner Sky is published by Gehrmans Musikförlag.
